This past Tuesday I got to hang out with Baby C and his Mom. What an adorable CHUNK! Baby C is almost 2 months old and his favorite pastimes are eating, sleeping, and snuggling with his mommy & daddy (not necessarily in that order)! We got LOADS of adorable shots and I can’t wait for mom and dad to see–soon, I promise!

I had the immense pleasure of photographing another Celebrating Adoption Session on Tuesday. Little Miss A was a bundle of energy! She loved the camera and the camera loves her! From showing off her shoe collection to sharing her mad piano skills to sharing her patriotism she was a bundle of fun and smiles throughout the whole session!

I was surfing around YouTube last night and came across a video that brought back SO MANY memories for me. I have a pretty eclectic taste when it comes to music. I will listen to just about ANY genre as long as the music has words! (So I’m not a big fan of Classical or Jazz) In 1985 I became a MAJOR John Denver fan because of a new song I heard on the radio. I already liked him because of his 12 Days of Christmas Song with the Muppets but when I heard this new song I WAS HOOKED! I even still have the 45-single of it! My best friend Ronda and I would listen to it over and over…ah the good old days! And the video was a side of John Denver that we (and probably MOST folks) had never seen before. Enjoy!

Don’t Close Your Eyes Tonight

I had the immense pleasure of photographing this adorable little guy and his family this past Saturday. Little Mr. C is 7 months old and has the sweetest disposition I’ve ever seen! Even though our shoot STARTED past his bedtime, he was just full of smiles and belly laughs throughout the evening. A quick nap between locations and he was ready to show off those beautiful dimples without so much as a fuss!

I hung out with my nephews awhile back and got some pictures of them together that I just love! They are really growing up fast and their mom decided to redecorate their room with some new posters, so of course I got the honor of taking all the photographs! I played around with a few of them to give them a more “artsy” feel–what do you think?

Meet Miss A. She is the 18 month old beauty I had the pleasure of photographing on Monday. The K Family found me through my listing on the Celebrating Adoption website. Little Miss A was adopted from Korea and this little beauty is very much loved and adored by her forever family! It was challenging to get a smile out of her and even though she showed me her “serious side” most of the time, I WAS able to catch a hint of a smile or two during our session. I look forward to capturing the smiles of the rest of the K Family soon!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending another couple of hours with the B Family! Little Miss R. arrived at the end of April and are they glad to see her! I had just pulled into the driveway, when her big brothers ran up to tell me that they had a BABY SISTER! They are SO PROUD of her! She is definitely a blessed little girl to have such an adoring family. Here’s your sneak peek!

I am busily putting the finishing touches on the galleries for the triplets and working on Miss J’s gallery as well! I am on a (much needed) vacation from work but busy working on spring cleaning around the house! Its just a busy week! I had the pleasure of photographing the newest member of the D Family yesterday. Baby J is such a little doll and looks EXACTLY LIKE her big brother did when he was a baby! I just love being able to get portraits of such fresh new babies! They grow so fast that soon all the little wrinkles and dry newborn skin will be just a distant memory. Not only is Baby J lucky enough to have a cool big brother, she also has an awesome Mommy and “The Baby Whisperer” for a Daddy–what more does a little girl need?!
